Research Groups

Some of the research groups in our department that conduct studies at both national and international levels include:

The TÜBİTAK-funded and Scientific Research Projects (YTU-BAP) carried out within our department provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to engage with research culture at an early stage of their education. Students receive academic support throughout the processes of idea development, project proposal preparation, experimental studies, data analysis, and reporting within programs such as TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B, TUSAŞ Lift Up, TEKNOFEST, and similar project initiatives.

Thanks to our extensive laboratory infrastructure and strong university–industry collaboration agreements, students gain hands-on experience by working on real-world engineering problems through internships, design projects, and research activities. This practical exposure helps them develop the technical and professional competencies required for successful engineering careers.
